At tadabbur means reflection/contemplation.

I am a Muslimah living in the UK and this blog is like a diary for me to make sense of this busy and chaotic world we live in.

I like to express my thoughts and emotions on my day to day experiences, which helps me gain clarity on what I am feeling, as well as helping me to release the tension inside me.

I have had some painful experiences in life, but I want to move forward from them and be a better person for the sake of Allah.

This life is all we have and we all need to make the most of it.

I want to be successful in the akhirah and I want to be super cool like the prophet (pbuh) and his companions (ra), eventhough I know I will never be, however I want to strive to emulate them.

It can be difficult often to practice the deen in an era where liberalism and modernity seems to prosper.

However, we must try our best I believe to be like the best. As long as we stick to the roots, that is the best thing we can do.

I hope you can follow me on my journey. I would love to meet others like me who think of the world in the same way.

Please feel free to stop over and say “Hi”. I love chatting to and meeting new people inshaAllah.

I shall leave you with this quote:

A’isha reported that a person asked Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) as to who amongst the people were the best. He said:

Of the generation to which I belong, then of the second generation (generation adjacent to my generation), then of the third generation (generation adjacent to the second generation).
